WHO WE ARE

Centre for Rights and Development -CRD is a trusted, registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Bangladesh, founded by a group of passionate development professionals dedicated to building a just, inclusive, and equitable society. Our vision is simple yet powerful: A world where every person enjoys their rights, lives with dignity, and has equal access to education, healthcare, clean water, justice, and opportunities to thrive. What sets us apart is our deep connection with the communities we serve. Our team members come from the same northern districts of Bangladesh where we work, and they understand the daily struggles of poverty, inequality, and marginalization. This personal connection fuels our commitment to creating lasting, positive change. Through rights-based programs, capacity building, advocacy, and partnerships, CRD works to empower the most vulnerable groups — especially women, children, and marginalized citizens — so that no one is left behind.
